What’s Involved with Being a Chaperone at SCDC?

Volunteering as a chaperone at SCDC is a rewarding way to support our performances and be part of the magic that happens both on and off stage.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Support & Supervise: Help ensure students are safe, organized, and ready for their moment in the spotlight.
• Encouraging Presence: Be part of the journey as students build confidence and step onto the stage — it’s incredibly rewarding to witness their growth.
• Exclusive Backstage Access: Enjoy VIP access to the backstage area — a behind-the-scenes look most never get to see!
• Priority Drop-Off & Pick-Up: As a chaperone, you’ll have special access for dropping off and collecting your children — making your day easier.
• Essential Contribution: Your help as a volunteer is what keeps our shows running smoothly. Without chaperones, performances simply wouldn’t happen.
