Discover the joy of dance at SCDC, a leading dance school in the Stoke-on-Trent area. Established in 2011, we’ve grown into a thriving hub for the performing arts, welcoming students of all ages and abilities.
We offer classes in Street and Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz/Commercial, Gymnastics, Singing, Fitness, Yoga, Self-Defence, Drama and Musical Theatre. IDTA Street Dance exams are offered annually, and every three months we host workshops with renowned industry professionals from around the world, giving our students exceptional additional training opportunities.
Classes are available for ages 2+, 6+, 9+, 12+ and 21+. Please see our timetable for full details. Prices start from £4.00 per class. Fees are paid monthly in advance to secure your place. There is no joining fee and no contract — you’re free to leave at any time.

If your child spends excessive time on screens, SCDC provides the perfect place to enhance their confidence, fitness, and social life. Newcomers
We welcome newcomers to try our classes free of charge, but make sure to book in advance as spaces are limited. Upon arrival, head to our main reception, where you’ll receive a welcome pack containing all the information you need. Please wear breathable clothing such as leggings, joggers, t-shirts/hoodies, and trainers.
If you’re a parent with a child enjoying their trial class, you can relax in our comfortable waiting room and observe the session through viewing windows. Treat yourself to a cup of tea or coffee from our confectionary and catering area.
